A Tribute to the Stars We Lost in 2017

Our idols eventually pass away. They’re only human, after all. As much as they may seem invincible; it’s just a cold, hard fact of life that we eventually will have to say goodbye them.

We thought 2016 was bad. After all, it started off horribly. We lost David Bowie and Glenn Frey almost in the same exact week. Three short months later, we lost our beloved Prince Rodgers Nelson. In addition to those icons, we also lost Garry Shandling, Muhammad Ali, Gene Wilder, Alan Thicke and Carrie Fisher; and that barely scratches the surface.

It’s not as though 2017 was much kinder to those of us who grow attached to musicians, actors, athletes and comedians. We’ve gathered up a few articles we posted in 2017 to pay tribute to those who passed away.
