In November 2015, rocker (The Del Fuegos) and author Warren Zanes joined the KQ Morning Show to discuss his authorized biography of Tom Petty entitled Petty: The Biography.

He discusses Petty growing up in the deep south, great rock & roll originating in “the messy margins” of small towns and not in big cities like L.A., and that we should all get down on our knees and thank God for rock & roll.

To hear more from Mr. Zanes, check out the short videos below where he discusses the biography, his interviews with Petty and whether or not Petty would have had the same success if he launched his career in this current era of rock.
