Walsh Channels Harrison on Ringo’s Cover of Posthumous Lennon Classic

Joe Walsh recently talked to Billboard about his contribution to Ringo Starr‘s cover of John Lennon‘s posthumous classic, “Grow Old With Me”.

The song is sort of a Beatles reunion (just go with us on this):

Ringo’s cover of John’s song features Paul McCartney providing vocals/bass, and Jack Douglas’ slight/barely there string-section interpolation of George Harrison‘s “Here Comes the Sun”.

In addition to all of those elements, Joe Walsh had a “what would George do?” moment and did his best to channel the quiet Beatle.
