Perhaps one day you could hear Iron Maiden’s music performed by a symphony.

Bruce Dickinson is currently kicking around the idea. At a recent spoken word event, the frontman revealed that he broached the subject after participating in Jon Lord’s “Concerto For Group And Orchestra” back in November.

“Wouldn’t it be great if we could do something that might involve some Maiden songs, but only Maiden songs that are really appropriate for doing an orchestra?” Dickinson said he told conductor Paul Mann. Which songs is he thinking? “‘Empire Of The Clouds’ is one of them,” according to Dickinson, who adds, “So yeah, you never know.”
