Charlie Daniels Passes Away

Country music Hall of Famer Charlie Daniels has died. He was 83.

Daniels died at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee from a hemorrhagic stroke. Daniels achieved greatness in the music business with the Charlie Daniels Band.

He was a member of the Grand Ole Opry and the Musicians Hall of Fame. His signature song, “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” went to #1 on the US Hot Country Songs (Billboard) chart and #3 on US Billboard Hot 100.
