Nikki Sixx now has three bands as he’s formed L.A. Rats with Rob Zombie, guitarist John 5 and drummer Tommy Clufetos (Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Black Sabbath).
Their first release is a cover of Geoff Mack’s 1959 hit, “I’ve Been Everywhere,” which they did for the soundtrack for the new Liam Neeson Netflix movie, The Ice Road.
John 5 and Clufetos are no strangers to Zombie, having played in his band on two albums — 2006’s Educated Horses and 2010’s Hellbilly Deluxe 2: Noble Jackals, Penny Dreadfuls and the Systematic Dehumanization of Cool. Clufetos also played on four of John 5’s albums during that period.
And Nikki and John 5 also worked together, having co-written three new original Motley Crue songs for the soundtrack to their 2019 bio-pic, The Dirt.

Meanwhile, Sixx is busy with his other band, as he’s been in Los Angeles this week recording with Sixx A.M.
Back in Los Angeles to record a few new tracks, drop something new this week and finish my book.
