Ray Erick Retires After 30 Years at KQRS

Saying goodbye is hard. Ray Erick is retiring after 30 years at Minnesota’s Classic Rock 92 KQRS.

Ray made the announcement on Facebook on Friday, July 9th:

After careful consideration I have decided to retire from the world of radio. It wasn’t an easy decision. Over 30 years at KQRS, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some really great people and for that I’m very thankful. What a giant station to be working for. Thank You KQ for having me around! Going to miss the connection to the audience the most.
On to a new adventure, whatever it is!

Take a listen to clips from Ray Erick’s final shift on KQRS. After that, you need to take the deep dive into his interviews with Don Henley, Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons!
