Def Leppard have come through the pandemic with a new album, their 12th.

Diamond Star Halos, taken from a lyric in T. Rex’s “Bang a Gong (Get It On),” will be released on May 27th. It’s their first album of new material since their self-titled release in 2015.

It contains 15 songs, including two with Alison Krauss. David Bowie pianist Mike Garson plays on “Goodbye for Good This Time” and “Angels (Can’t Help You Now).”

The first single, “Kick,” is out now and can be streamed below.

To celebrate, the band have launched DiamondStarsHalo.com, featuring five tarot cards with drawings of each band member, who are labeled as psychics, along with audio messages.

Diamond Star Halos will be available in multiple configurations, including a Deluxe Edition, 2-LP vinyl, digital and more. (pre-order)
