Pink Floyd Release “Hey Hey Rise Up”

Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour and Nick Mason, along with touring bassist Guy Pratt and keyboardist Nitin Sawhney, have reunited for their “first newly conceived single as a band” in 28 years.

“Hey Hey Rise Up” features vocals from Andriy Khlyvnyuk of Ukrainian band Boombox.

Andriy Khlyvnyuk had originally performed an a capella version of a 1914 Ukrainian anthem (“Oh, the Red Viburnum in the Meadow”) on Instagram, which inspired the collaboration.

All proceeds from the new single go towards Ukraine Humanitarian Relief.
