Dave Grohl, Shane Hawkins Join Taylor Hawkins Side Project At Bowling Alley

Dave Grohl and Shane Hawkins recently played a gig with Chevy Metal, the classic rock covers band founded by Grohl’s late bandmate (and Shane’s dad) Taylor Hawkins.

The group performed at Harley’s Valley Bowl in Simi Valley, CA covering songs by Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Kinks, and Spinal Tap.

Other celebs joined in, including Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith and Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction.
