Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are sharing a live version of their take on “When The Levee Breaks,” the classic “Led Zeppelin IV.”
Plant and Krauss’ version of the song is the first single they’ve released together since dropping their 2021 album Raise The Roof.
The duo recently performed “When the Levee Breaks” on at Mystic Lake on June 7th, along with other Led Zeppelin covers of “Rock and Roll”, “The Battle of Evermore” and “Gallows Pole.”
Led Zeppelin’s version of “When the Levee Breaks” was a reworking of a 1929 song by Kansas Joe & Memphis Minnie.
