There was a 24 year gap between Steve Perry‘s sophomore solo album (1994’s Gold-selling For the Love of Strange Medicine) and his 2018 Top 10 third album, Traces.

Since 2018, he’s released Traces (Alternate Versions & Sketches) featuring stripped, acoustic and radio mixes of 8 Traces tracks, and in 2021 he released The Season, an 8-song Christmas/holiday album.

In 2022, he reissued The Season with 2 bonus tracks to kick off the deluxe edition; “Maybe This Year” and “This Christmas.” Now in 2024, Perry has signed to George Harrison’s Dark Horse Records to reboot The Season as The Season 3.

Arriving November 8th, The Season 3 contains all ten tracks from the 2022 reissue, and now includes six additional tracks; “What a Wonderful World,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Let It Snow,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and “Call Me Irresponsible.”

“I am so pleased to announce that I have just signed with George Harrison’s label. I’ve so much music in me that has yet to be heard. To be able to work with a team of people who support and respect my creative expressions is a dream come true.”
