On April 23, 2016, just two days after Prince’s passing, a father and daughter said farewell to Prince by watching the Purple One’s “big game” half-time performance.
Considering her age, it was obviously the child’s first exposure to Prince. Let’s just say, she’s going to have great taste in music. She dances to “Purple Rain” and is completely enthralled as he rips into his guitar solo.
If she looks familiar to you in anyway, it’s likely because you just recently watched a video of her telling Santa that all she wants for Christmas is a nap
Congratulations to KQ Morning Show’s, Tom Barnard, who was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago on November 2nd!
“Tom’s 32 years at KQRS is a significant achievement, not only for the extraordinary length of service, but the consistent level of ratings excellence he’s been able to provide” says KQ Operations Manager, Scott Jameson. “Tom’s induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame is richly deserved.”
Jameson had the honor of presenting Tom with this award (and outstanding career achievement!)
Six others were inducted into the 2017 class along with Tom: Sean Hannity, Robin Quivers, Joseph Field, Bobby Bones, John Records Landecker and Bill Handel.

Vince Flynn’s American Assassin is now in select theaters and everywhere nationwide tomorrow!
The premiere of the movie took place last week in St. Paul (Flynn’s hometown) and Tim Lammers chatted with the film’s star, Dylan O’Brien (Mitch Rapp)
My goal first and foremost was about really humanizing the kind of cold-hearted Mitch we see in the books. Everyone who knows the books describes him as this cold, ruthless and brutal killer, and I can see why,” O’Brien explained. “But I also saw so much more underneath. I was really excited to bring all these layers underneath to life.

The late Richard Jeni really nailed it with this one. It seems that comics have the ability to basically predict what’s going to happen in politics and society in general.
George Carlin was good at it, but we don’t have specifics at the ready. You’d have to do a Google search.
Anyway, we’re not picking on one network in particular, because they all do it, but we’ve posted an example (below Jeni’s routine) of a reporter sticking a microphone in the face of a Hurricane Harvey victim…
…pretty much the way Richard Jeni predicted some 30 years prior.
Dave Mordal will occasionally mention that when he appeared on The Tonight Show, he got to meet Halle Berry, and she’s better looking in person, and she smelled so good…and blah blah blah.
No, good for our beloved Dave Mordal. We’re just jealous.
Check out his appearance on The Tonight Show, complete with definitive proof that he did indeed touch Halle Berry.
In case you missed yesterday’s on-air announcement (which you can here right here), Tom Barnard is being inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.
He’ll be only the third Minnesotan inducted into the hall after Stanley Hubbard Sr. and Garrison Keillor.
Adam West passed away at age 88 over the weekend.
Entertainment Weekly has compiled 10 of West’s best Family Guy moments (and one honorable mention) in which he portrayed “Mayor Adam West”.

This man’s crimes are secondary to his mugshots. He’s a drug dealer and it seems that most of his arrests are from stealing cars and burglary.
The images above start out with him as a fresh faced 18 year old, and in successive mugshots, he seems less and less pleased with his crimes. Maybe he’s trying to hide his shame with tattoo ink.
